Brazilians and foreigners should pay attention to some rules for fishing in the Pantanal. The first is the obligation of the Amateur Fisherman’s Card.
The Issue occurs through the SEMA of the State of Mato Grosso, for exclusive use in the state of MT, and through MAPA (Federal Government) for use throughout Brazil.
- Validity of 1 year in the entire national territory;
- Prohibition: Fishermen cannot market their fish;
- Limit: 5 kg + 1 specimen for capture and transport;
